Summer Camp – 2nd Edition

The S.P.I.D. (Italian Professional Dance School) opens its doors each year to exceptionally talented young people like you, from all over the world. Students have the good fortune to study with renowned teachers, immerse themselves in academy life, and perform in theatrical productions. Based in Milan at Dance Studio SSD a R.L., SPID Dance Academy was founded to give aspiring dancers a serious opportunity for multidisciplinary training and a solid chance of entering the professional arena.

Under the artistic direction of Marta Levis many academy students have gone on to successful careers many academy students have gone on to successful careers in musicals, television, and dance companies worldwide. Even while still enrolled, students are offered professional experiences arranged by the artistic director, giving them an early foothold in the industry.

SPID ACADEMY SUMMER CAMP is a summer training project run by a team of dance professionals and educators, designed for boys and girls aged 9 to 17 (from the final year of primary school to the final year of upper secondary school).

We wish to offer an engaging and educational experience to young people who are finishing the school year and eager to dive into the magical world of dance before the summer holidays.

Held within spaces specifically dedicated to dance (4 rooms available, living room, changing rooms, and garden), our camp aims to entertain young people for 2 weeks: each week will be organised and dedicated to the study of different dance styles (classical dance, jazz dance, contemporary dance, hip hop, musical) with an academic approach  focused on the development of various movement techniques.

In addition to dance lessons, complementary activities will also be offered to enrich the overall experience, such as stretching classes, strengthening sessions, and creative workshops.

Young talents will also have the opportunity to experience life at the Academy, fully immersing themselves in the world of dance. At the end of each week, we will present a performance  to parents/grandparents/friends that will turn the week of lessons into a memorable show.

This will allow us to work towards a tangible goal from the very beginning and to celebrate the talent and hard work of every participant.
