The S.P.I.D. (Italian Professional Dance School) opens its doors each year to young talents like you, from all over the world, who are fortunate enough to study with renowned teachers, take part in academy life, and perform in theatrical productions. The SPID Dance Academy, based in Milan at Dance Studio SSD a R.L., was founded to offer aspiring dancers a serious opportunity for multidisciplinary training and a strong chance of entering the professional world.
The artistic direction of Marta Levis has led many academy students to successful careers in the industry (musicals, television, dance companies around the world), as well as giving them the opportunity to gain professional experience even during their time at the academy, thanks to projects proposed by the artistic direction itself.
SPID ACADEMY
All academic dance techniques and various stylistic disciplines are studied in depth. Among the subjects taught are also singing and acting – the latter with specialised programmes for students with a marked talent for musical theatre.
Being versatile – that is, having a comprehensive training – undoubtedly ensures many more job opportunities. SPID is aimed at young women and men aged 16 to 24, has a genuinely limited number of places, and admission is through audition.

REGULATIONS
The internal educational regulations clearly and precisely set out the rules, deadlines, and examinations. The school’s study programme is structured over three years. At the end of the third year, students will be awarded a professional qualification certificate, which enables them to work both in Italy and abroad. Students, aged between 16 and 24, may be admitted to SPID after completing compulsory education and passing an audition.
Each candidate will be assessed individually for admission to the school, allowing for a careful and precise evaluation of each person's potential and to guide them towards the most suitable pathway.
